Roadrunner has launched a less-than-truckload (LTL) service into Portland (USA) and new connections to Toronto and Montreal, Canada via Detroit (USA). The long-haul transport specialist has also added 135 more lanes to its network, continuing the changes starting last year.
The expansion includes the creation of guaranteed service in select lanes, on-time deliveries by the promised date or a full refund of charges, and one-day service between the company’s Southern California and Chicago locations.
GLT Logistics recently honoured Roadrunner with the “Breakthrough Carrier of the Year” award in recognition of these improvements. (ben)
