100th anniversary in Freilassing
Nieten Internationale Spedition - Zollservice Freilassing is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. Appropriately, the two-day celebration also marked the handover to the next generation. Klaus Lastovka, who had managed the company as sole director and owner since 1994, handed it over to his daughter Maria, who will now lead the company into its second century in the fourth generation.
Today, the forwarder and provider of customs services once again employs over 150 people at 25 locations in five European countries. "Despite the increasing lifting of customs borders in Europe, the company continues to see enough promising prospects for the future to enter its second century of existence in a positive frame of mind," says company head Maria Lastovka.
