1,000 French e-trucks on Europe’s roads
Renault Trucks' French plant in Blainville-sur-Orne (Normandy) has been producing 100% electric medium-duty trucks in series since 2020. 1,000 electric trucks with 16, 19 and 26 t have already rolled off the plant’s production line. The vehicles are in use all over Europe.
The demand for these vehicles has been steadily increasing ever since the first mass-produced e-truck was put on the market. Renault is constantly adapting its plant to increase its production capacity for e-trucks. By now, 50% of Renault's electric trucks sold in Europe are manufactured in Blainville-sur-Orne. (ben)
