1,000 beds per week on the move
Gefco is currently transporting around 1,000 beds per week to destinations all over Europe on behalf of Hill-Rom, a provider of hospital equipment. Due to the Covid 19 crisis, demand for these services rose substantially in recent weeks. Gefco France in Rennes coordinates the deliveries from the Hill-Rom production plant in Pluvigner to clinics and hospitals in France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Switzerland and the UK.
The company in France has been working with Hill-Rom for a number of year and supplies the Pluvigner plant with components and raw materials. Gefco also supplies Hill-Rom medical equipment to hospitals and nursing homes. (mw)
