100% of ICT Logistics transferred
It is a Danes-only transaction with an international focus: ferry operator DFDS is acquiring all the shares of Danish freight forwarder ICT Logistics. Since 2006, DFDS has owned 19.9% of the shares in ICT Logistics, which prvides transport solutions between Scandinavia and eastern Europe, particularly Russia, Ukraine, Romania, Latvia and Lithuania.
"This expansion of our logistics network also complements our Baltic ferry route network,” said Niklas Andersson, executive vice president and head of the logistics division. Financial details were not disclosed. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval. At this stage, it was hinted that the brand ICT Logistics may vanish. (sh)
