XFret wins air cargo sustainability award
XFret has been announced as the winner of the start-up/small business category of the 2021 air cargo sustainability awards. The company will receive a cash prize of USD 10,000 and the two runners-up, Mission Go and Waves, will receive USD 2,500 each.
The winner was selected by the audience at the executive summit in San Francisco. XFret is an innovative container that can be placed on empty seats in commercial aircraft cabins, optimising the use of aircrafts by allowing them to reduce their environmental impacts.
The start-op and small business category recognises and encourages young growing businesses as well as small businesses building their presence in the air cargo industry and contributing to its sustainability transformation. (cj)
