Royal Vopak picks Dick Richelle as CEO
Royal Vopak’s supervisory board will nominate Dick Richelle as chairman of the executive board and CEO as per 1 January 2022, Eelco Hoekstra having decided to step down.
Richelle started his career with Royal Vopak as a management trainee in 1995. He brings with him over 25 years of experience and in-depth knowledge of the company’s business activities, having served in a variety of management roles in Latin America and Europe.
Over the last twelve years he has led divisions in the Americas and Asia & Middle East as president and most recently headed the global commercial and business development activities for the company. He has been a member of Royal Vopak’s strategic committee since 2009. (cj)
