Pushing ahead with digitalisation
The Indian Register of Shipping (IRS), an international classification society, has appointed Rabindra Sah as its new chief technology officer (CTO) to drive forward its digitalisation agenda and spearhead the development and implementation of new technologies. He will work to identify opportunities for digital innovation and ensure that the register remains at the forefront of technological advancements, IRS said.
Sah has more than 30 years of experience in providing engineering services using digital technologies and industry 4.0 solutions. Prior to joining IRS, he was chief engineer for strategic projects and global practices with Tata Technologies and Tata Motors. (cj)
