MxV Rail welcomes MW
Maureen Werner has joined MxV Rail as vice-president of engineering. She recently retired from the TTX Company, one of the largest railcar fleet owners in North America, where she served as assistant vice-president of engineering and research, a position she had held since 2008. Werner was also chair of the Association of American Railroads equipment engineering committee, which she joined in 2008.
An accredited professional engineer in the state of Illinois, Werner earned her bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Northwestern University and completed the Chicago Management Institute executive education programme at the University of Chicago Booth.
