DB Schenker promotes Mike Fahy
Global logistics provider DB Schenker has promoted Mike Fahy as the new chief executive officer for DB Schenker, Region Americas, effective 1 September 2022. He has served as the executive vice president of contract logistics, Americas Region since November 2020.
In his new role, Fahy will have full responsibilities for all P&L aspects across the America’s including more than 10,000 employees in 123 locations, providing over 2,508,382 sqm of distribution operations to its clients.
His career before DB Schenker includes COO for an oil & gas distribution company owned by Simon Group Holdings and CEO of their technology companies. Prior to that, Fahy held several positions at Syncreon, culminating as their president of the technology segment.
The appointment comes at a time when the market is once again stirred by rumours that DB Schenker may be taken over. (cj)
