Avianca: a VP to head strategic projects
Avianca Cargo has appointed Diogo Elias as vice president of corporate development. With more than 20 years of experience heading commercial and operational strategies and new businesses in the air cargo sector and various other industries, Elias will be leading strategic projects and continue driving the company’s ongoing transformation.
The business administrator, with a master’s degree in business, operations management, and statistical modelling from the University of São Paulo and an MBA from the University of Michigan, will join the Avianca Cargo team in June 2023.
Avianca Cargo has been operating in major markets in the Americas for 50 years. It currently runs around 200 cargo and more than 1,300 passenger flights per week. (cj)
