Astre Italia names network coordinator
Astre Italia has appointed Matteo Natali as the new director for the further development of the network in Italy. As Europe’s largest logistics network, Astre is a cooperation of small and medium-sized transport companies that was founded in 1992 and today comprises 160 companies in 46 countries.
Before joining Astre Italia, Natali had already been associated with the cooperation for ten years, but from the supplier side. At Forini, a group specialising in the marketing and transport of petroleum products, he ran the fuel card business with freight forwarders.
Before that, Natali was sales manager at the petroleum company AS 24 (Total Energies), where he oversaw the distribution of fuels to transport companies in central and southern Italy and the company’s petrol station business in that region. (cj)
