At the 2024 Fiata World Congress held in Panama City, Panama, the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (Fiata) and TT Club, a provider of insurance and risk management services for the international freight transport sector announced the global winner of this year's Young Logistics Professionals Award (YLP).
Laura Cristin Egerer, the region Europe winner who was nominated by Bundesverband Spedition und Logistik (DSLV), is the YLP’s global laureate this year. Her dissertation, “Reliable Logistics Solutions in an Unreliable Environment”, explores the export of an oversized combustion chamber and the import of a dangerous goods sea freight shipment, which she presented in her live session in Panama.
Her solution-oriented approach to these complex cargo movements demonstrates both her expertise and innovative thinking. (cj)
