60th anniversary for Air Cargo Club Deutschland
Air cargo has always played a major role in Germany’s export industry. The Air Cargo Club Deutschland (ACD) has therefore been representing and promoting this sector for 60 years. The approximately 250 members are all high-ranking executives of air cargo companies with nationwide or international responsibilities.
Keynote speaker at the ceremony, which was held at the Airport Club Frankfurt on 24 October 2023, was Fokko Doyen, recipient of the German cross of merit on ribbon and founder of the aid organisation Cargo Human Care.
A living legend of aviation, Doyen was a flight captain for Lufthansa Cargo for 44 years. He took the audience on a dazzling, adventurous and riveting journey into half a century of aviation history. (cj)
