En esta funci\u00f3n, Gerbi tambi\u00e9n ser\u00e1 miembro del consejo de administraci\u00f3n de la empresa, que es dirigido por Marie-Christine Lombard, CEO de GEODIS.<\/p>\n<p>Gerbi comenz\u00f3 su carrera profesional en el sector bancario en BNP Paribas, antes de unirse a Deloitte en 2006 como auditor financiero. En 2008, se incorpor\u00f3 a Saint-Gobain como controlador de gesti\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>En 2011, Gerbi lleg\u00f3 a GEODIS, donde inicialmente trabaj\u00f3 como controlador financiero para la regi\u00f3n de Am\u00e9rica. En 2014, fue nombrado Director Financiero (CFO) de la unidad de negocio de Optimizaci\u00f3n de la Cadena de Suministro (SCO). A partir de 2018, asumi\u00f3 adem\u00e1s el rol de EVP adjunto de SCO, donde fue responsable de recursos humanos, TI, soluciones para clientes y la gesti\u00f3n de clientes clave. En octubre de 2021, fue nombrado EVP de la divisi\u00f3n SCO en GEODIS. Desde 2024, hab\u00eda estado desempe\u00f1\u00e1ndose como CFO de la unidad de negocio global de transporte de carga.<\/p>\n<p>Gerbi tiene un t\u00edtulo de ingeniero de la \u00c9cole des Mines de Nancy, as\u00ed como un m\u00e1ster especializado en finanzas internacionales de la HEC Business School.<\/p>\n<p>El nombramiento de Eric Gerbi se produce en un momento en que GEODIS busca consolidar a\u00fan m\u00e1s su posici\u00f3n en el mercado log\u00edstico global. La empresa opera en casi 170 pa\u00edses y emplea a alrededor de 48,000 personas.
