La decisi\u00f3n se anunci\u00f3 el 4 de mayo. Yi aporta una amplia experiencia en diversas \u00e1reas de infraestructura mar\u00edtima y pol\u00edtica.<\/p>\n<p>Antes de su nombramiento como presidente de la AAPA, Yi fue administrador adjunto de la Administraci\u00f3n Mar\u00edtima (MARAD) del Departamento de Transporte de EE. UU. En esta funci\u00f3n, fue responsable de programas clave que apoyan la infraestructura mar\u00edtima comercial y estrat\u00e9gica del pa\u00eds. Anteriormente, fue miembro de la C\u00e1mara de Representantes de EE. UU. durante casi 15 a\u00f1os y tambi\u00e9n tuvo una carrera en la comunidad de inteligencia. Adem\u00e1s, fue concejal en Fairfax, Virginia, y ha servido m\u00e1s de dos d\u00e9cadas como oficial en la Reserva Naval.
