Para el proyecto piloto, se transportaron alrededor de 50 contenedores con equipo de carrera a lo largo de casi 2,000 km desde Miami FL (EE. UU.) hasta Montreal (Canad\u00e1). Aproximadamente dos tercios de la carga que normalmente se transporta por cami\u00f3n en esta ruta se trasladaron a la v\u00eda.<\/p>\n<p>La entrega incluy\u00f3 no menos de 46 contenedores High-Cube y cuatro TEU. Seg\u00fan DHL, esto permiti\u00f3 reducir las emisiones sin poner en peligro el ajustado cronograma de la serie de carreras. Durante el transporte, los contenedores fueron monitoreados con dispositivos de seguimiento y sensores de vibraci\u00f3n para garantizar la seguridad y la llegada puntual.<\/p>\n<p>El proyecto es parte de la estrategia conjunta de DHL y la F\u00f3rmula 1 para reducir las emisiones en general. Adem\u00e1s del transporte ferroviario, el proveedor de log\u00edstica ya est\u00e1 utilizando combustibles de aviaci\u00f3n sostenibles, camiones de biocombustible y planificaci\u00f3n de rutas optimizada.
