El objetivo es mejorar la ocupaci\u00f3n de los trenes, reducir costos y hacer que el transporte de mercanc\u00edas por ferrocarril sea m\u00e1s rentable a largo plazo. El trasfondo es la directiva del gobierno federal de que el transporte de mercanc\u00edas debe operar de manera aut\u00f3noma a partir de 2033.<\/p>\n<p>En el futuro, alrededor de 50 puntos de servicio con baja demanda ya no ser\u00e1n atendidos en el EWLV. Actualmente, la red abarca aproximadamente 280 ubicaciones. Seg\u00fan la SBB, alrededor del 98% de las cantidades de transporte anteriores seguir\u00e1n siendo transportadas por ferrocarril. Al mismo tiempo, se espera que trenes mejor ocupados aumenten la eficiencia.<\/p>\n<p>Para alrededor de 200 empleados en Suiza, la transici\u00f3n traer\u00e1 cambios, especialmente en los lugares de trabajo. Se ver\u00e1n afectados, entre otros, los sitios en Brig, Buchs SG, Chiasso, Thun y Friburgo. Seg\u00fan la SBB, los despidos deber\u00edan seguir siendo la excepci\u00f3n.
