El proyecto destaca el papel del puerto como una puerta mar\u00edtima estrat\u00e9gica que apoya la recuperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de Siria y busca impulsar las actividades comerciales.<\/p>\n<p>Durante la reuni\u00f3n, se discutieron oportunidades para mejorar la infraestructura y la eficiencia log\u00edstica, asegurando que el puerto de Tartus est\u00e9 bien preparado para manejar el aumento esperado en el volumen de comercio y carga. Estos esfuerzos tienen como objetivo posicionar el puerto como un importante nodo regional que conecta rutas comerciales entre el sur de Europa, el Medio Oriente y el norte de \u00c1frica.<\/p>\n<p>Los planes de desarrollo para el puerto de Tartus son parte de un contrato de concesi\u00f3n de 30 a\u00f1os firmado en julio de 2025 con el gobierno sirio. Se espera que la modernizaci\u00f3n de las operaciones portuarias mejore la eficiencia, facilite los flujos comerciales y apoye los esfuerzos de reconstrucci\u00f3n de Siria.\u201d<\/p>\n<h3>Ubicaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica del puerto de Tartus<\/h3>\n<p>El puerto de Tartus es el segundo puerto m\u00e1s grande del pa\u00eds y una importante puerta mar\u00edtima de Siria hacia las rutas comerciales hacia Europa, la regi\u00f3n del Levante y el norte de \u00c1frica. Su ubicaci\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica mejora la conectividad regional y complementa las rutas existentes a trav\u00e9s del B\u00f3sforo y el canal de Suez.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s del puerto en s\u00ed, DP World est\u00e1 explorando oportunidades para desarrollar zonas log\u00edsticas, centros de carga interior y corredores de tr\u00e1nsito en colaboraci\u00f3n con actores locales, para integrar el puerto de Tartus en cadenas de suministro regionales y globales.<\/p>\n<p>Con actividades en m\u00e1s de 80 pa\u00edses y manejando aproximadamente el 10% del tr\u00e1fico global de contenedores, DP World aporta una amplia experiencia en el desarrollo de infraestructuras log\u00edsticas a gran escala. El proyecto en Tartus ampl\u00eda el portafolio de la empresa en el Medio Oriente y refleja el enfoque en rutas comerciales emergentes como impulsores del crecimiento a largo plazo.<\/p>\n<p>Las relaciones comerciales entre los EAU y Siria ya se est\u00e1n fortaleciendo.
