La instalaci\u00f3n, que se est\u00e1 construyendo actualmente en Mechelen, servir\u00e1 como un centro clave para el mantenimiento, reparaci\u00f3n y modernizaci\u00f3n de la flota ferroviaria. Adem\u00e1s, al utilizar un terreno Brownfield, se promueve un uso sostenible del espacio.<\/p>\n<p>Egon Braem, director de industria en Alheembouw, destaca que la soluci\u00f3n bien pensada de Dematic ha permitido optimizar el dise\u00f1o del nuevo edificio de oficinas y del almac\u00e9n manual. Esto le ha dado a la empresa una ventaja en el proceso de licitaci\u00f3n y ha contribuido a la selecci\u00f3n de Alheembouw y Dematic como equipo preferido por la NMBS.<\/p>\n<p>Con la nueva construcci\u00f3n, la NMBS tiene como objetivo modernizar las estructuras obsoletas, algunas de las cuales datan de la \u00e9poca de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, y hacer que las operaciones sean sostenibles para el futuro. Tras una licitaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica, se tom\u00f3 la decisi\u00f3n en 2025 a favor de Alheembouw, siendo Dematic involucrado en el proceso del proyecto desde el principio debido a su experiencia en la integraci\u00f3n de sistemas AutoStore\u2122.<\/p>\n<h3>Almacenamiento eficiente y tecnolog\u00eda moderna<\/h3>\n<p>El n\u00facleo de la nueva instalaci\u00f3n es un almac\u00e9n de estanter\u00edas altas, que est\u00e1 equipado con seis dispositivos de manejo de estanter\u00edas y tiene una altura de 45 m y una longitud de 120 m. En una configuraci\u00f3n de almacenamiento de doble profundidad, se crear\u00e1n m\u00e1s de 48,000 espacios para palets, lo que permite un almacenamiento eficiente de grandes vol\u00famenes de mercanc\u00edas. Adem\u00e1s, se prev\u00e9n tres estaciones de preparaci\u00f3n de pedidos directamente conectadas, que garantizan procesos r\u00e1pidos en la provisi\u00f3n de piezas de repuesto.<\/p>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s, se instalar\u00e1 un sistema AutoStore\u2122 en un entrepiso. Esta soluci\u00f3n permite el almacenamiento de una variedad de art\u00edculos en un espacio m\u00ednimo y reduce las rutas de transporte internas. Con m\u00e1s de 17,000 contenedores y cuatro estaciones de trabajo SwingPort\u2122, que son operadas por seis robots, se busca una alta eficiencia en las operaciones del almac\u00e9n.<\/p>\n<p>Ambos sistemas est\u00e1n conectados a trav\u00e9s del sistema de control de almacenes de Dematic, lo que garantiza un flujo de material continuo y un control en tiempo real de todos los procesos. Esto tiene como objetivo mantener un alto rendimiento del sistema en todo el centro log\u00edstico de manera sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>Farly Orie, director del mercado Benelux en Dematic, enfatiza que el proyecto establece nuevos est\u00e1ndares en la log\u00edstica ferroviaria. La combinaci\u00f3n de un almac\u00e9n de estanter\u00edas altas y un sistema AutoStore\u2122 aumenta la disponibilidad y fiabilidad de la log\u00edstica de piezas de repuesto. Adem\u00e1s, la mayor densidad de almacenamiento permite un uso m\u00e1s eficiente del espacio y los recursos a lo largo de todo el ciclo de vida.<\/p>\n<p>La automatizaci\u00f3n del almac\u00e9n ya est\u00e1 bastante avanzada, y la finalizaci\u00f3n del proyecto completo, que incluye un nuevo edificio de oficinas, est\u00e1 prevista para 2027.
