Esta decisi\u00f3n sigue a un exhaustivo proceso de selecci\u00f3n, en el que Wekesa fue identificado como el l\u00edder adecuado para impulsar los ambiciosos objetivos de la KAA.<\/p>\n<p>Wekesa aporta una amplia experiencia de diversos sectores econ\u00f3micos en Europa, Asia, el Pac\u00edfico y \u00c1frica. Anteriormente, se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como Director de Desarrollo Comercial en KenGen, donde lider\u00f3 el crecimiento del negocio principal de la empresa. Su experiencia tambi\u00e9n abarca el sector de infraestructura, lo que le permite desarrollar a\u00fan m\u00e1s la infraestructura aeroportuaria de Kenia.<\/p>\n<p>Posee una licenciatura en Ciencias en Ingenier\u00eda de la Universidad Jomo Kenyatta de Agricultura y Tecnolog\u00eda (JKUAT) y una maestr\u00eda en Ciencias en Ingenier\u00eda Mec\u00e1nica (Mec\u00e1nica Aplicada) de la Universidad de Nairobi (UON). Adem\u00e1s, cuenta con calificaciones de posgrado en Finanzas, Valoraci\u00f3n y Planificaci\u00f3n de Proyectos de la Universidad de Bradford en el Reino Unido.<\/p>\n<h3>Deseos para un mandato exitoso<\/h3>\n<p>La junta de la KAA desea a Wekesa mucho \u00e9xito en su nuevo rol y al mismo tiempo agradece al Dr. Mohamud Gedi, Gerente General de Finanzas de la KAA, por su dedicaci\u00f3n como Director General interino.
