(&#8222;K&#8220; LINE) ha firmado un acuerdo para el suministro a largo plazo de combustible Bio-LNG. Esta medida tiene como objetivo permitir el uso de Bio-LNG (metano biol\u00f3gico licuado) para la flota de transportadores de autom\u00f3viles propulsados por LNG. El acuerdo podr\u00eda resultar en una reducci\u00f3n de las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero de &#8222;K&#8220; LINE en aproximadamente 60.800 t por a\u00f1o, seg\u00fan informa la empresa.<\/p>\n<p>El Bio-LNG representa una alternativa al gas natural licuado (LNG) convencional. El combustible se obtiene de desechos org\u00e1nicos como excrementos de ganado y restos de alimentos. &#8222;K&#8220; Line informa que las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero a lo largo del ciclo de vida del Bio-LNG, desde la producci\u00f3n hasta el uso, son menores que las emisiones de combustibles convencionales.
