Este proyecto tiene como objetivo aumentar la seguridad, reducir la congesti\u00f3n y promover la tecnolog\u00eda en el transporte de mercanc\u00edas a lo largo de la Interestatal 40.<\/p>\n<h3>Evaluaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas para el transporte de mercanc\u00edas<\/h3>\n<p>El proyecto piloto de varios a\u00f1os probar\u00e1 las tecnolog\u00edas para veh\u00edculos conectados y aut\u00f3nomos (CAV) en condiciones operativas reales. TDOT espera que los datos y conocimientos recopilados permitan desarrollar estrategias a largo plazo para modernizar el transporte de mercanc\u00edas en Tennessee. Se trata de la primera iniciativa espec\u00edfica de TDOT en el \u00e1mbito del transporte inteligente de mercanc\u00edas, que permite al departamento probar nuevas tecnolog\u00edas en colaboraci\u00f3n con Cavnue, mientras el estado mantiene el control sobre las carreteras, los datos y las decisiones futuras.<\/p>\n<p>En los pr\u00f3ximos meses, Cavnue comenzar\u00e1 con la planificaci\u00f3n y el dise\u00f1o del proyecto, que se llevar\u00e1 a cabo bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de TDOT. Tras la aprobaci\u00f3n de TDOT, el proyecto pasar\u00e1 a la fase de pruebas temporales en la carretera, seguido de una evaluaci\u00f3n final que informar\u00e1 las decisiones futuras en el \u00e1mbito del transporte de mercanc\u00edas y la infraestructura.<\/p>\n<p>En el marco de esta iniciativa, Cavnue asumir\u00e1 las siguientes tareas:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Realizaci\u00f3n de un an\u00e1lisis detallado del corredor y la infraestructura<br \/>\n&#8211; Desarrollo del concepto operativo y dise\u00f1o del piloto<br \/>\n&#8211; Instalaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas temporales en carreteras y veh\u00edculos<br \/>\n&#8211; Recopilaci\u00f3n y an\u00e1lisis de datos en tiempo real sobre el transporte de mercanc\u00edas y el tr\u00e1fico<br \/>\n&#8211; Evaluaci\u00f3n del rendimiento del sistema, los impactos en la seguridad y los beneficios operativos<br \/>\n&#8211; Involucramiento de las partes interesadas<\/p>\n<p>El corredor de la Interestatal 40 es una de las rutas de transporte de mercanc\u00edas m\u00e1s transitadas y econ\u00f3micamente significativas en Tennessee. Dada la r\u00e1pida expansi\u00f3n industrial en el oeste de Tennessee, incluidas inversiones significativas en y alrededor de Blue Oval City, se espera un aumento en el transporte de mercanc\u00edas en los pr\u00f3ximos a\u00f1os.
