En particular, la situaci\u00f3n en el Golfo P\u00e9rsico se ha agudizado desde el inicio de la guerra en Ir\u00e1n a finales de febrero. Actualmente, m\u00e1s de 2.000 buques comerciales con alrededor de 20.000 marineros est\u00e1n bloqueados en la regi\u00f3n, incluidos al menos 50 barcos de armadores alemanes. La \u00fanica salida segura del golfo pasa por el estrecho de Ormuz, que en este momento se considera inseguro. Con esto, Alemania ocupa el s\u00e9ptimo lugar en comparaci\u00f3n internacional, detr\u00e1s de pa\u00edses como Grecia y China. Es especialmente notable el ascenso de la flota de contenedores alemana, que con 30,4 millones de GT ahora ocupa el segundo lugar a nivel mundial, superando a China con 30,2 millones de GT. Solo Suiza se encuentra por delante de Alemania con 41,2 millones de GT.<\/p>\n<p>Kr\u00f6ger calific\u00f3 la flota comercial como un &#8222;tesoro estrat\u00e9gico&#8220;, que no solo asegura el suministro de la econom\u00eda y la poblaci\u00f3n, sino que tambi\u00e9n permite operaciones militares y humanitarias en caso de necesidad.<\/p>\n<h3>Propuesta para fortalecer la competencia mar\u00edtima<\/h3>\n<p>Para garantizar la operatividad de la flota comercial en situaciones de crisis, el VDR propone la introducci\u00f3n de un servicio mar\u00edtimo en el marco del nuevo servicio militar. Este servicio mar\u00edtimo deber\u00eda contribuir a construir una reserva mar\u00edtima civil, cuyos miembros puedan contribuir a mantener el suministro mar\u00edtimo en caso de emergencia. Al mismo tiempo, el servicio mar\u00edtimo ofrece a los j\u00f3venes la oportunidad de adquirir experiencia pr\u00e1ctica a bordo y obtener contenidos de formaci\u00f3n que puedan ser reconocidos en una futura formaci\u00f3n profesional.<\/p>\n<p>Kr\u00f6ger enfatiz\u00f3 la necesidad de una mayor base de personal nacional para estar preparados ante situaciones de crisis. El servicio mar\u00edtimo tambi\u00e9n podr\u00eda servir como una alternativa civil al servicio militar, en caso de que este vuelva a ser obligatorio. El VDR tambi\u00e9n aboga por retomar pr\u00e1cticas probadas que existieron hasta la suspensi\u00f3n del servicio militar obligatorio en 2011, cuando los marineros activos pod\u00edan ser eximidos del servicio militar debido a su importancia.<\/p>\n<h3>Desarrollo positivo de las cifras de nuevos ingresos en la navegaci\u00f3n<\/h3>\n<p>El sector tambi\u00e9n ha registrado un aumento en los nuevos ingresos. En 2023, el n\u00famero de nuevos ingresos en el mar aument\u00f3 de 418 a 537, lo que representa un incremento de casi el 30 por ciento y el valor m\u00e1s alto desde 2012.
