Bassett, quien fund\u00f3 la empresa en 1974, la dirigi\u00f3 durante m\u00e1s de cuatro d\u00e9cadas y la desarroll\u00f3 de un peque\u00f1o servicio de taxi a\u00e9reo a una importante aerol\u00ednea de carga internacional que atiende los mercados del Caribe, as\u00ed como de Centro y Sudam\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n<p>En los primeros a\u00f1os, Bassett no solo fue el fundador, sino tambi\u00e9n el piloto que volaba los aviones y constru\u00eda la empresa vuelo a vuelo. A trav\u00e9s de su visi\u00f3n y perseverancia, cre\u00f3 una compa\u00f1\u00eda que fue reconocida en Estados Unidos y las Am\u00e9ricas como un nombre de confianza. Su pasi\u00f3n por la aviaci\u00f3n comenz\u00f3 en su juventud en Guyana, donde su familia trabajaba como misioneros. All\u00ed aprendi\u00f3 a volar y ayud\u00f3 a reparar aviones en pistas remotas.<\/p>\n<p>Despu\u00e9s de su tiempo en la Fuerza A\u00e9rea de EE. UU., Bassett regres\u00f3 al sur de Florida para perseguir sus ambiciones empresariales en la aviaci\u00f3n.
