La seguridad de la navegaci\u00f3n y de los marineros es, seg\u00fan la IUMI, la m\u00e1xima prioridad para los propietarios. La situaci\u00f3n en la regi\u00f3n sigue siendo tensa, ya que muchos operadores se ven obligados a cambiar sus rutas para evitar \u00e1reas de alto riesgo.<\/p>\n<p>La IUMI se\u00f1ala que estos desarrollos podr\u00edan tener impactos potenciales en las cadenas de suministro. En particular, podr\u00eda haber interrupciones en los puertos cercanos, lo que afecta tanto a los barcos como a las tripulaciones en rutas mar\u00edtimas m\u00e1s largas. Los aseguradores son conscientes de los desaf\u00edos que surgen de esta situaci\u00f3n y, seg\u00fan la IUMI, ajustar\u00e1n sus estrategias en consecuencia.<\/p>\n<h3>Protecci\u00f3n contra guerra y condiciones de seguro<\/h3>\n<p>La concesi\u00f3n de protecci\u00f3n contra guerra para barcos en el Golfo P\u00e9rsico y en el Mar Rojo se realiza, seg\u00fan la IUMI, sobre la base de acuerdos espec\u00edficos que se aplican a viajes individuales. Esta cobertura solo se concede si la navegaci\u00f3n es aprobada por los gobiernos competentes y los estados de bandera. Dada la situaci\u00f3n que cambia r\u00e1pidamente, los aseguradores revisar\u00e1n regularmente su disposici\u00f3n para proporcionar esta cobertura. En algunos casos, puede ocurrir, seg\u00fan la Uni\u00f3n, que los aseguradores cancelen la cobertura de seguro para reevaluar el riesgo. Sin embargo, tal cancelaci\u00f3n no significa necesariamente el fin de la cobertura de seguro.<\/p>\n<p>La IUMI enfatiza que los miembros ofrecen principalmente seguros de bienes para casco, maquinaria y carga.
