Seg\u00fan la organizaci\u00f3n, la Comisi\u00f3n reconoce la importancia estrat\u00e9gica del sector de ferris y tiene como objetivo apoyar la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de la industria mar\u00edtima. Un punto central es la reinversi\u00f3n de los ingresos del sistema de comercio de emisiones de la UE (ETS) en el desarrollo de la navegaci\u00f3n, lo que coincide con las demandas de larga data de Interferry.<\/p>\n<p>La Comisi\u00f3n Europea estima que la industria mar\u00edtima necesita entre 2,4 mil millones y 8,5 mil millones de euros anuales para descarbonizar su flota. Interferry se muestra complacida de que la Comisi\u00f3n planee destinar una parte significativa de los aproximadamente 10 mil millones de euros anuales en ingresos del ETS para la implementaci\u00f3n de tecnolog\u00edas limpias. Un mecanismo de la UE previsto proporcionar\u00e1 a las navieras certificados ETS por el uso de combustibles sostenibles y sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n limpios, vinculados a criterios espec\u00edficos de la UE.<\/p>\n<h3>Electrificaci\u00f3n como clave<\/h3>\n<p>Interferry destaca que la estrategia apoya los hallazgos recientes de organizaciones medioambientales que enfatizan el potencial de la electrificaci\u00f3n en el sector de ferris.
