Esta decisi\u00f3n sigue, seg\u00fan el Consejo, a una revisi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de la operaci\u00f3n, que tiene como objetivo garantizar la seguridad en relaci\u00f3n con la crisis continua en la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<h3>Condiciones marco y futuras revisiones<\/h3>\n<p>En este contexto, el Consejo ha establecido un importe de referencia financiero de casi 15 millones de euros. Esta cantidad debe cubrir los costos operativos conjuntos para el per\u00edodo del 1 de marzo de 2026 al 28 de febrero de 2027. Adem\u00e1s, se prev\u00e9 una nueva revisi\u00f3n estrat\u00e9gica de la operaci\u00f3n para los a\u00f1os 2026\/27.<\/p>\n<p>La operaci\u00f3n &#8222;EUNAVFOR ASPIDES&#8220; desempe\u00f1a, seg\u00fan el Consejo, un papel central en la garant\u00eda de la libertad de navegaci\u00f3n en el Mar Rojo y en las aguas adyacentes. Responde a las amenazas persistentes para los buques comerciales y de transporte, y proporciona seguridad mar\u00edtima defensiva.
