Moller \u2013 Maersk, y Eurogate han anunciado que est\u00e1n en negociaciones avanzadas para una asociaci\u00f3n a largo plazo. El objetivo de esta asociaci\u00f3n es invertir mil millones de euros en la modernizaci\u00f3n del North Sea Terminal Bremerhaven (NTB). Estas inversiones tienen como objetivo desarrollar el terminal en una de las instalaciones de transbordo m\u00e1s modernas y eficientes de Europa.<\/p>\n<h3>Modernizaci\u00f3n y expansi\u00f3n de capacidad<\/h3>\n<p>Las inversiones planificadas incluyen la modernizaci\u00f3n del equipamiento t\u00e9cnico del terminal, as\u00ed como un aumento de la capacidad de transbordo anual de tres a cuatro millones de TEU (Twenty-foot Equivalent Units). Un elemento central de los planes es la electrificaci\u00f3n completa de las operaciones de transbordo. A trav\u00e9s del uso de energ\u00edas renovables, el NTB busca convertirse en el primer terminal de este tipo en Alemania en alcanzar cero emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero en su operaci\u00f3n.
