Con la puesta en marcha de cuatro nuevas gr\u00faas de contenedores el\u00e9ctricas de clase Suez en los Norfolk International Terminals (NIT), el puerto afirma que ahora es capaz de despachar ULCVs simult\u00e1neamente.<\/p>\n<p>Las nuevas gr\u00faas de contenedores complementan la flota existente de 29 gr\u00faas en la zona de aguas profundas, que seg\u00fan el puerto est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas para el despacho de los mayores buques portacontenedores en el tr\u00e1fico atl\u00e1ntico. Sarah J. McCoy, CEO interina y directora de la Virginia Port Authority, enfatiza que esta inversi\u00f3n en infraestructura env\u00eda una se\u00f1al a las navieras para aumentar su volumen de carga en el puerto de Virginia. &#8222;Nuestra capacidad de atraque est\u00e1 creciendo.
