En total, se movieron 48761 contenedores, lo que representa un aumento del 33% en comparaci\u00f3n con el a\u00f1o anterior. Este aumento se debe al crecimiento en el comercio minorista y a una exitosa temporada de soja para los agricultores locales.<\/p>\n<p>El Inland Port sirve, entre otras cosas, como un punto de conexi\u00f3n para grandes minoristas y productores agr\u00edcolas, vinculando el este de Carolina con mercados globales. El a\u00f1o pasado, SC Ports trabaj\u00f3 en colaboraci\u00f3n con el Departamento de Agricultura de Carolina del Sur y actores privados para facilitar a los agricultores de soja el acceso a nuevos mercados internacionales, seg\u00fan informa la empresa.
