El presentador del evento, Steve Backshall, conocido como presentador de televisi\u00f3n, aventurero, autor y conservacionista, anunci\u00f3 los nombres de las nueve empresas ganadoras y de dos individuos destacados en once categor\u00edas.<\/p>\n<p>Steve Parker, director general de la British International Freight Association (BIFA), destac\u00f3 la alta calidad de las presentaciones. Este a\u00f1o, 33 empresas de transporte alcanzaron las listas cortas en las nueve categor\u00edas de servicio, con siete de ellas recibiendo reconocimiento en m\u00faltiples categor\u00edas. Durante el evento, tambi\u00e9n se recaudaron 4,500 GBP para el socio ben\u00e9fico de BIFA, Transaid.<\/p>\n<h3>Ganadores en diferentes categor\u00edas<\/h3>\n<p>En la categor\u00eda &#8222;Air Freight Forwarder of the Year&#8220;, patrocinada por IAG Cargo, JCS Livestock se impuso a Atlantic Pacific Global Logistics, KLN Freight (UK) y Pro-Logist. ALS Customs Services gan\u00f3 en la categor\u00eda &#8222;Customs Compliance Services&#8220; (patrocinada por CNS) y logr\u00f3 destacarse frente a una fuerte competencia de EV Cargo Global Forwarding, Samphire Customs, Seafast Logistics y UK Customs Solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Simpex Express fue nombrado el mejor proveedor de log\u00edstica europeo del a\u00f1o, superando a Brunel European, JPM Future y Transportify. En la categor\u00eda &#8222;Extra Mile&#8220;, patrocinada por Descartes Systems, Carousel Logistics gan\u00f3, mientras que Efret, JCS Livestock, Mercury Freight y UPS SCS tambi\u00e9n fueron nominados.<\/p>\n<p>DFDS Logistics triunf\u00f3 en la categor\u00eda &#8222;Project Forwarding&#8220; (patrocinada por BT) y se impuso a Deugro (UK), DHL Global Forwarding y Killick Martin &amp; Co. En la categor\u00eda &#8222;Value-Added Services&#8220; (patrocinada por Menzies LLP), IFE Global Logistics se impuso a Elite Logistics Consultants, HSM Global y Uniserve.<\/p>\n<h3>Premios individuales<\/h3>\n<p>En las dos categor\u00edas para individuos, Veronika Litterova de Avocet Clearance fue nombrada &#8222;Apprentice of the Year&#8220; (patrocinada por World Insurance Services, Inc.). Se impuso a fuertes competidores como Dylan Cheesman y Nathan Brooks de Unsworth UK, as\u00ed como a Peter Boyd y Joseph Findlay de DHL Global Forwarding (UK).
