La Agencia de V\u00edas Navegables Flamenca (De Vlaamse Waterweg nv) otorg\u00f3 a la empresa, como primera naviera, la autorizaci\u00f3n para operar el barco de mercanc\u00edas peligrosas &#8222;Walcheren&#8220; desde un Centro de Operaciones Remotas (ROC). Este permiso es v\u00e1lido inicialmente por un a\u00f1o y permite, seg\u00fan HGK, una reducci\u00f3n de la tripulaci\u00f3n a bordo.<\/p>\n<p>El permiso permite realizar la navegaci\u00f3n en las v\u00edas fluviales al este de Amberes con solo un capit\u00e1n y un marinero, en lugar de los dos capitanes requeridos anteriormente. Esto es parte de un enfoque de HGK Shipping para contrarrestar la escasez de mano de obra en la navegaci\u00f3n interior. Steffen Bauer, CEO del grupo HGK, enfatiza que el permiso representa un avance importante para hacer m\u00e1s eficiente el uso del personal.<\/p>\n<p>La tecnolog\u00eda proporcionada por el socio del proyecto SEAFAR ha convencido a las autoridades en fases de prueba anteriores, seg\u00fan informa la empresa.
