Para ello, la empresa log\u00edstica multinacional ha aumentado su servicio entre Verona, Italia, y Leipzig, Alemania, a una frecuencia diaria a partir del cambio de a\u00f1o, casi duplicando as\u00ed las capacidades disponibles.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Auer) Mientras Gruber Logistics ya utiliza en gran medida el transporte combinado carretera\/ferrocarril, ahora quiere impulsar el cambio modal de los flujos de tr\u00e1fico para la industria del transporte en general con su participaci\u00f3n en el recientemente iniciado proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n de la UE ESEP4Freight (European Shift Enabler Portal for Freight).<\/p>\n<p>ESEP4Freight est\u00e1 financiado con 1,3 millones de euros por la Empresa Conjunta de Ferrocarriles de Europa (EU-Rail) y es coordinado por el Departamento de Planificaci\u00f3n del Transporte del Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico Real (KTH) en Estocolmo. En total, nueve socios de cinco pa\u00edses participan en el proyecto de investigaci\u00f3n. Adem\u00e1s de Gruber Logistics y el KTH, estos son: la Red de Investigaci\u00f3n Ferroviaria Europea de Excelencia (EURNEX), la Universidad Polit\u00e9cnica de Madrid, la Uni\u00f3n Internacional para el Transporte Combinado Rail-Route (UIRR), la Fundaci\u00f3 Eurecat, Tenalach Consulting, la Asociaci\u00f3n para el Transporte Combinado (SGKV) y el Consorcio para la Zona Agr\u00edcola Industrial de Verona (ZAI).<\/p>\n<h5>La demanda de servicios intermodales crece<\/h5>\n<p>Martin Gruber, CEO de Gruber Logistics, dice: \u00abLa demanda de nuestros clientes por servicios intermodales, especialmente en la ruta del Brenner, est\u00e1 creciendo continuamente a pesar de las desafiantes condiciones en este \u00e1mbito. El cambio modal es una parte esencial de nuestra estrategia. La participaci\u00f3n de Gruber Logistics en proyectos de investigaci\u00f3n como ESEP4Freight subraya nuestro compromiso continuo con una mayor sostenibilidad en la cadena de suministro.\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5>En un per\u00edodo de 24 meses, el consorcio de investigaci\u00f3n trabaja hacia tres objetivos principales:<\/h5>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>El desarrollo de servicios basados en la web:<\/strong> En el marco de ESEP4Freight, se desarrollar\u00e1, integrar\u00e1 y validar\u00e1 una serie de servicios basados en la web en una plataforma de acceso abierto, incluyendo un mapa interactivo de la infraestructura existente de transporte de mercanc\u00edas por ferrocarril en Europa, as\u00ed como vistas de rutas y horarios.
