Conectada a aproximadamente 90 salidas semanales de RoRo desde los terminales de LHG, forma un v\u00ednculo importante entre los centros industriales de Europa del Sur y del Oeste y los pa\u00edses n\u00f3rdicos. \u00abCon la ampliaci\u00f3n de la capacidad, podemos fortalecer significativamente la competitividad de L\u00fcbeck como un hub para el transporte por ferrocarril, carretera y v\u00eda fluvial. La demanda en el mercado est\u00e1 ah\u00ed\u00bb, dice Antje Falk, directora general de Baltic RailGate.<\/p>\n<h5>Financiaci\u00f3n por parte del Ministerio Federal de Transporte<\/h5>\n<p>Esto tambi\u00e9n lo ve as\u00ed el Ministerio Federal de Transporte: apoya y promueve la transferencia de transportes de mercanc\u00edas de la carretera a los medios de transporte ecol\u00f3gicos, como el ferrocarril y la v\u00eda fluvial. Para ello, el ministerio ha emitido una directriz correspondiente. En el marco de esta directriz, la Oficina Federal de Ferrocarriles financia la ampliaci\u00f3n de la instalaci\u00f3n con casi un 80 por ciento de fondos p\u00fablicos. Actualmente, la instalaci\u00f3n cuenta con seis v\u00edas de 600 metros de longitud cada una y dos gr\u00faas. \u00abCon la ampliaci\u00f3n, alargaremos todas las v\u00edas a 720 metros de longitud \u00fatil\u00bb, anuncia Christoph Adam, jefe de la secci\u00f3n de instalaciones y equipos de LHG. \u00abDe este modo, adaptamos la terminal a las longitudes de tren habituales en Europa y podemos evitar trabajos de maniobra que consumen tiempo.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>En los planes de construcci\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n se incluye una tercera gr\u00faa y un nuevo edificio de operaciones. Las v\u00edas de gr\u00faa y los tambores de cable para el suministro el\u00e9ctrico de las dos gr\u00faas existentes tambi\u00e9n se alargar\u00e1n, de modo que en el futuro puedan manejar toda la longitud de las v\u00edas.
