A lo largo del a\u00f1o, se a\u00f1adir\u00e1n 30 nuevos camiones de GNL para largas distancias a la flota. Ambas adquisiciones son parte de un programa de inversi\u00f3n de aproximadamente 74 millones de euros (64 millones de libras) de DHL Parcel UK en una flota de veh\u00edculos sostenibles en el Reino Unido y est\u00e1n alineadas con la estrategia de sostenibilidad del Grupo Deutsche Post DHL.<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>(Bonn\/Londres) La empresa da as\u00ed un paso importante hacia la descarbonizaci\u00f3n de su flota de transporte y entrega en el Reino Unido y el objetivo del Grupo Deutsche Post DHL de alcanzar una log\u00edstica de emisiones netas cero para 2050. En el camino, el grupo invertir\u00e1 m\u00e1s de 7 mil millones de euros en combustibles sostenibles y tecnolog\u00edas limpias solo hasta 2030. La conversi\u00f3n de la flota de DHL para recogidas, entregas y transporte regular a propulsiones el\u00e9ctricas o soluciones de combustible sostenible es un palanca importante.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abNuestro objetivo es liderar la transici\u00f3n de movilidad en el Reino Unido con un buen ejemplo. El uso de propulsiones el\u00e9ctricas sin emisiones en camiones pesados en la \u00faltima milla es un paso importante hacia nuestra visi\u00f3n de una log\u00edstica de emisiones netas cero\u00bb, dice Peter Fuller, CEO de DHL Parcel UK.<\/p>\n<p>Los camiones el\u00e9ctricos Volvo FL de 16 toneladas son alimentados por cuatro bater\u00edas de 200 kWh cada una, que permiten una autonom\u00eda de casi 200 km, con una carga de hasta 12 palets y un peso de transporte de hasta 6 toneladas. La carga de las bater\u00edas se realiza durante la noche en ubicaciones centrales de DHL Parcel en Londres, de modo que puedan utilizarse diariamente para transportes en el centro de la ciudad.<\/p>\n<p>Dado que se trata de veh\u00edculos sin emisiones, no emitir\u00e1n carbono ni contaminantes a la atm\u00f3sfera. Con su excelente visibilidad panor\u00e1mica, tambi\u00e9n cumplen con el est\u00e1ndar de visi\u00f3n directa de Londres de 3 estrellas, que tiene como objetivo mejorar la seguridad de todos los usuarios de la carretera en Londres.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez que se complete la instalaci\u00f3n de una infraestructura de carga de Bio-GNL y los conductores hayan sido capacitados en la carga segura, los 30 nuevos camiones de GNL complementar\u00e1n la flota de veh\u00edculos en el nuevo centro de DHL al sur del aeropuerto de Coventry. Con una autonom\u00eda de hasta 600 kil\u00f3metros por tanque, se espera que los camiones se utilicen para transportes regulares en todo el Reino Unido.
