Estas nuevas soluciones para el transporte a\u00e9reo y mar\u00edtimo ofrecen a nuestros clientes una oportunidad adicional para descarbonizar toda su cadena de suministro\u00bb, dice Marie-Christine Lombard, directora general de GEODIS.<\/p>\n<p>El combustible de aviaci\u00f3n sostenible (Sustainable Aviation Fuel, SAF) y el combustible marino sostenible (Sustainable Marine Fuel, SMF) se producen a partir de fuentes no f\u00f3siles, utilizando residuos de alimentos y agricultura (principalmente aceite de cocina). Su uso permite una reducci\u00f3n significativa de las emisiones de CO2 durante todo su ciclo, desde la producci\u00f3n hasta el consumo, de al menos un 80 % para el transporte a\u00e9reo y un 90 % para el transporte mar\u00edtimo, as\u00ed como la reducci\u00f3n de otros contaminantes.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>El uso de biocombustibles es el medio m\u00e1s eficaz<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>\u00abEl uso de biocombustibles es actualmente el medio m\u00e1s eficaz para reducir significativamente el impacto ambiental de las actividades de transporte\u00bb, dice Philippe de Carn\u00e9, vicepresidente ejecutivo de Desarrollo Empresarial, RSE e Innovaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Estas fuentes de combustible alternativo se clasifican como \u00abinsecticidas\u00bb o \u00abreducci\u00f3n integrada de carbono\u00bb, ya que se utilizan dentro de la cadena de valor de los medios de transporte, a diferencia de las fuentes de \u00abcompensaci\u00f3n\u00bb, como los paneles solares, los aerogeneradores o la plantaci\u00f3n de \u00e1rboles, que no est\u00e1n directamente involucradas en la operaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u00abEstas soluciones insecticidas ofrecen a nuestros clientes la posibilidad de tener un impacto directo en las emisiones globales de CO2 relacionadas con sus env\u00edos y reducirlas significativamente\u00bb, a\u00f1adi\u00f3 Philippe de Carn\u00e9.
