Poco a poco, todas las locomotoras di\u00e9sel actuales ser\u00e1n reemplazadas por m\u00e1quinas modernas y ecol\u00f3gicas con sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n alternativos. Actualmente, 300 nuevas locomotoras de maniobra y de doble tracci\u00f3n est\u00e1n en camino para DB Cargo. Las primeras locomotoras deber\u00edan entrar en servicio el pr\u00f3ximo a\u00f1o. A largo plazo, se trata de reemplazar alrededor de 900 locomotoras di\u00e9sel de modelos m\u00e1s antiguos.<\/h5>\n<p>La DB Cargo ha encargado 200 locomotoras con tecnolog\u00eda de propulsi\u00f3n innovadora para el cambio de a\u00f1o. \u00abEstamos invirtiendo en nuestra flota de locomotoras porque vamos a crecer. Con la tecnolog\u00eda m\u00e1s moderna, ayudamos a alcanzar los objetivos clim\u00e1ticos en el transporte. Con nuestro programa de modernizaci\u00f3n, se pueden ahorrar alrededor de 14 millones de litros de di\u00e9sel al a\u00f1o\u00bb, dice la Dra. Pronto, tambi\u00e9n se realizar\u00e1n servicios de maniobra en las estaciones de carga y \u00abla \u00faltima milla\u00bb hacia el cliente con veh\u00edculos de tecnolog\u00eda de doble tracci\u00f3n o h\u00edbrida. El transporte de mercanc\u00edas por ferrocarril tiene una huella de CO\u2082 hasta un 80 por ciento menor en comparaci\u00f3n con el transporte por carretera.<\/p>\n<h5>Sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n modulares<\/h5>\n<p>Para el cambio de a\u00f1o, la empresa Vossloh Locomotives GmbH ha convencido con una locomotora de maniobra h\u00edbrida innovadora en una licitaci\u00f3n a nivel europeo. Las nuevas m\u00e1quinas est\u00e1n dise\u00f1adas como h\u00edbridas enchufables, pero tambi\u00e9n cuentan con suficiente potencia del motor y la m\u00e1s moderna tecnolog\u00eda de limpieza de gases de escape para mover trenes de mercanc\u00edas de varias miles de toneladas en servicio de maniobra. Los sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n son modulares y pueden ser f\u00e1cilmente reemplazados con el correspondiente desarrollo t\u00e9cnico. La introducci\u00f3n de esta tecnolog\u00eda innovadora es apoyada por el gobierno federal a trav\u00e9s de la directiva para la promoci\u00f3n de sistemas de propulsi\u00f3n alternativos en el transporte ferroviario del Ministerio Federal de Digitalizaci\u00f3n y Transporte con un total de 15 millones de euros. Las 50 locomotoras deber\u00edan entrar en servicio en DB Cargo a partir de 2024.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_16799\" style=\"width: 1421px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-image-16799 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/transportjournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2025\/12\/DB_Cargo_18.1.22_2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1411\" height=\"722\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-16799\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">50 locomotoras de Vossloh Locomotives deber\u00edan entrar en servicio en DB Cargo a partir de 2024.<\/p><\/div>\n<h5><strong>Las locomotoras de doble tracci\u00f3n ofrecen lo mejor de dos mundos<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>Con un potente sistema de propulsi\u00f3n el\u00e9ctrico, los trenes de mercanc\u00edas pesados tambi\u00e9n pueden ser movidos a lo largo de largas distancias \u00abbajo catenaria\u00bb. Si falta esta catenaria en las l\u00edneas secundarias o al entregar en las instalaciones del cliente, no es necesario cambiar la locomotora ni al maquinista: solo se debe cambiar el sistema de propulsi\u00f3n. Hace m\u00e1s de un a\u00f1o, el fabricante Siemens Mobility gan\u00f3 una licitaci\u00f3n de DB con locomotoras del tipo Vectron Dual Mode. Ahora, la primera entrega se ampliar\u00e1 de 100 a alrededor de 150 locomotoras a partir de 2023. Adem\u00e1s, se equipar\u00e1n 46 locomotoras adicionales con adaptaciones espec\u00edficas para el espectro de uso planeado por DB Cargo, y cuatro m\u00e1quinas ser\u00e1n asumidas por el grupo de construcci\u00f3n ferroviaria de DB.<\/p>\n<p>La tercera columna de la nueva estrategia es la adquisici\u00f3n de locomotoras de maniobra h\u00edbridas Toshiba HDB 800.
