La expansi\u00f3n del canal no solo fortalece la econom\u00eda en Schleswig-Holstein y el norte de Europa, sino que tambi\u00e9n contribuye a la protecci\u00f3n del clima, seg\u00fan el Ministro Federal de Transporte Andreas Scheuer.<\/p>\n<p>(Berl\u00edn\/Kiel) El NOK es la v\u00eda fluvial artificial m\u00e1s transitada del mundo. Con 30,000 pasajes de barcos al a\u00f1o, registra casi el doble de barcos que el Canal de Suez. Con la colocaci\u00f3n de la primera piedra para la primera fase de expansi\u00f3n de la ruta este, hoy se inicia oficialmente un gran proyecto para la v\u00eda fluvial federal: el gobierno federal invertir\u00e1 500 millones de euros en los pr\u00f3ximos diez a\u00f1os en el tramo de 20 kil\u00f3metros entre Kiel y Gro\u00dfk\u00f6nigsf\u00f6rde; en total, m\u00e1s de 2.6 mil millones de euros fluir\u00e1n hacia el mantenimiento y la expansi\u00f3n del canal, la mayor cantidad invertida en ninguna otra v\u00eda fluvial federal.<\/p>\n<p>El Ministro Federal de Transporte Andreas Scheuer: \u00abLa expansi\u00f3n del \u00faltimo cuello de botella del Canal de Kiel llevar\u00e1 a mejoras significativas para la navegaci\u00f3n internacional. Hoy en d\u00eda, el canal es una parte esencial de las rutas de transporte globales. Las ventajas del NOK son evidentes: menos costos, menos tiempo de viaje y menos CO2. Cada inversi\u00f3n en el NOK es, por lo tanto, una protecci\u00f3n activa del clima y fortalece la econom\u00eda alemana.\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>El NOK es la arteria de Nordeuropa<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>El Primer Ministro de Schleswig-Holstein, Daniel G\u00fcnther: \u00abCon la colocaci\u00f3n de la primera piedra de hoy, comienza una importante etapa de expansi\u00f3n del Canal de Kiel. El NOK es una arteria para nosotros en Schleswig-Holstein y para toda la econom\u00eda, especialmente en el norte de Europa. Conecta el Mar del Norte y el Mar B\u00e1ltico, une regiones econ\u00f3micas. La expansi\u00f3n toma impulso con la nueva c\u00e1mara de esclusa en Brunsb\u00fcttel y el tramo este, que tanto se ha esperado.\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans-Heinrich Witte, Presidente de la GDWS: \u00abLa expansi\u00f3n de la ruta este es un ambicioso gran proyecto de construcci\u00f3n, que, junto con otros proyectos de canal en curso, es un requisito para una v\u00eda fluvial eficiente. En la implementaci\u00f3n de la medida de construcci\u00f3n se han encontrado buenas soluciones para las necesidades de los residentes y del medio ambiente.\u00bb<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Diversos grupos de inter\u00e9s considerados en la planificaci\u00f3n<\/strong><\/h5>\n<p>En la planificaci\u00f3n se han tenido en cuenta diversos intereses: del gobierno federal y estatal, de los distritos y municipios, de los residentes y armadores, de los agricultores y defensores del medio ambiente. Por ejemplo, habr\u00e1 un camino lateral continuo que podr\u00e1n utilizar ciclistas y paseantes.
