
Henry Lamotte Food picks Florian Friedemann
Florian Friedemann (left) has taken over as head of purchasing supply chain at Bremen (Germany)-based food supplier Henry Lamotte Food.
Friedemann joins managing director Sebastian Drewes (centre), who was appointed in October 2021, and long-serving head of sales Frank Neitzel (right), on the new management team. Friedemann, who holds a degree in business management, succeeds Tobias Genz. He brings 15 years of experience in the food industry to his new role.
Friedemann began his career in 2008 as a strategic procurement manager at Coop Switzerland. At Metro Germany, he managed various product categories as a category manager.
Most recently, Friedemann was a senior project manager at Boston Consulting Group subsidiary Inverto, where he developed and implemented procurement and supply chain strategies for international clients. (cj)
