A critical logistics pick

Global Critical Logistics (GCL) has appointed Amanda Barlow as its vice-president of risk management and business affairs. Barlow, who previously served as senior vice-president with Roanoke Insurance Group, joined GCL on 2 October. She’ll provide leadership of the group’s various insurance schemes and spearhead development and coordination of the company’s global ATA Carnet programmes.

Barlow is a member of the board of directors of the Washington DC-based Airforwarders Association (AFA), where she chairs the technology and cybersecurity committee. She also sits on the US Department of Commerce’s ‘district export council of Southern California’, where she supports the governmental export promotion efforts. (cj)
