Vertical Cold Storage names Jim Henderson CCO
Vertical Cold Storage has appointed Jim Henderson as its chief commercial officer, to drive its continued expansion in the temperature-controlled logistics sector.
Henderson brings nearly 30 years of experience with him, including leadership roles at New Orleans Cold Storage, Tropical Shipping and the International Shipholding Corporation. He holds a master’s degree in international business from the University of South Carolina.
“Jim’s deep background in integrated commercial teams and global logistics makes him the perfect addition to serve our customers’ growing needs,” said CEO West Hutchison.
Vertical Cold, backed by Platform Ventures, operates warehousing and distribution centres in major US markets, including Chicago, Dallas and Miami. Henderson said he is excited to contribute to the company’s momentum and deliver customer-focused supply chain solutions. (ah)
