Two heavyweights for Dutch haulier
Bolk Transport is using the two new Mercedes-Benz Arocs 8x4 for heavy-duty transports. They replace the predecessor models which have been withdrawn after eight years of service in which they covered around 500,000 km.
Equipped with 630 hp and a fluid coupling, the new additions to the fleet can handle a gross train weight of up to 250 t. Along with generous stowage space in various cargo compartments, they have a comfortable driver’s cab. Among other things, the trucks are deployed to move heavy transformers and wind turbine components in Europe.
Bolk Transport is based in the western Netherlands and offers a wide range of transport solutions, including Europe-wide heavy-duty deliveries, project logistics and warehousing services. (ben)
