Three more Sino-Kazakh terminals in 2025
A partnership between China and Kazakhstan is bearing fruit. In 2024 more than 5,000 trains were sent towards Europe from China’s Xi’an dry port, which is 25% of all shipments on this route and represents a historical record.
In a recent meeting Chinese and Kazakh representatives discussed further plans. They agreed to realise new projects. The parties also agreed to launch a logistics complex in Almaty; to open the CRK Terminal, a new logistics centre in the Moscow region; and to launch a terminal in the Azeri port of Alyat in 2025.
Furthermore, logistics centres and terminals will be launched at the Svisloch station (Belarus) and in Budapest (Hungary) in 2026. (ben)
