Rhenus expands footprint in the Balkans

Continuing its expansion in Croatia, Rhenus is taking over logistics provider Trans Integral, two years after the successful integration of freight forwarder Log Adria. This acquisition is part of the plan to enlarge Rhenus Group’s presence in the region and augment its portfolio.

With their complementary activities, Trans Integral and Rhenus can already look back on several years of successful cooperation. The takeover allows Rhenus to enter Bosnia and Herzegovina, where Trans Integral’s newest office is located. Rhenus and its customers will also benefit from an extended pool of resources and expertise, the group said.

Owning and deploying a modern state-of-the-art truck fleet, Trans Integral was founded in 2004 and operates from its headquarters in the port town of Ploče and its branches in Rijeka and Zagreb as well as Čapljina (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

Trans Integral focuses on ocean freight forwarding services, customs clearance operations, chartering, port logistics (handling and storage) and road haulage. (ben)
