Regular service between Italy and Belarus/Russia
Trans Container is launching a new direct cargo train to connect Milan (Italy) with Russia via the Belarus-Russian Brest-Malaszewicze border-crossing point. The service will primarily transport consumer goods for sale at retail chains.
Within the transportation framework, Trans Container will provide its own equipment and organise cargo transportation across Europe, Belarus and Russia with the option of arranging for trucking services on the “first” and “last” miles.
The first train will depart from Milan on 22 September 2022, followed by a regular weekly service. The main destinations are Minsk (Belarus) and Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, Ekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, and Chelyabinsk in Russia. (ben)
