Overnight network grows

Railfreight company DB Cargo has been operating its door-to-door service EVplus between Hamburg and Cologne (Germany) since summer 2020. Seven new domestic routes will be added this year.

The Hamburg–Mannheim, Hamburg–Berlin, Hamburg–Stuttgart and Bremen–Stuttgart connections have already been launched. Cologne–Berlin, Mannheim–Munich and Cologne–Munich routes will follow soon.

With the new round-trips, DB Cargo is gradually expanding its EVplus network, which connects Germany's key economic regions through overnight services.

The railfreight operator not only provides the equipment and transport by rail and road, but also organises the entire logistics process and supplies the necessary swap bodies. (ben)
