OCP and Maersk strengthen collaboration


OCP Group and Maersk have signed a memorandum of understanding to enhance their collaboration and develop sustainable, resilient supply chain solutions.

 

The agreement supports OCP’s international expansion, particularly through its business unit entitled specialty products and solutions, as the has company reported. Strategic areas of cooperation include ocean cargo solutions and logistics, digital supply chain management, joint educational programmes with Mohammed VI Polytechnic University and initiatives to decarbonise logistics operations.

 

Both companies have reaffirmed their goal to achieve net zero emissions by 2040. According to Emilio De La Cruz, managing director for southwestern Europe and the Maghreb at A.P. Moller-Maersk, the partnership aims to strengthen supply chain agility, drive innovation and build future logistics and sustainability expertise. (js)
