Northlink receives green light from FAA

Northlink Aviation has passed an important milestone in the development of its e-commerce and express freight terminal at Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport ("ANC").

The terminal project has received a ‘finding of no significant impact and record of decision’ from the FAA related to the environmental assessment issued as part of the review process for the National Environmental Policy Act ("Nepa"). With this decision, Northlink and its partners ANC and other state agencies can begin construction on the 485,623 sqm plot Northlink has leased for 55 years.

Northlink has signed terminal usage agreements with multiple international air cargo carriers. The completion of operational hardstands, which will further enhance ANC's capacity to accommodate air cargo traffic, is projected for H2/2024. (cj)
