New wind in Saudi automotive sector

The German transport group Mosolf, the Saudi shipping line Bahri and the Saudi investment company Tasaru have joined forces to form a new JV.

Together they’ll create an all-round package for vehicle manufacturers and importers of passenger cars, light commercial vehicles and trucks. The package includes services from delivery to the port through technical services, intermediate storage and delivery to dealers or end customers.

The project will establish hubs in Jeddah, Riyadh and Dammam, as well as set up an extensive network of automotive carriers for regional distribution. Mosolf is contributing its know-how to the project for more efficient and sustainable logistics in Saudi Arabia. (ben)
